Terms and Conditions of Service
1. Definitions
Buyer: The person or company purchasing goods from the Seller.
Hirer: The person or company renting goods from the Seller.
Conditions: The terms and conditions outlined in this document, including any special terms agreed upon in writing by the Seller.
Goods: The items the Buyer agrees to purchase from the Seller.
Price: The cost of the Goods, not including VAT, shipping, or packaging.
Seller: Messe Fiera Ltd. Sti., located at Kavakli Mh. Sehitler Cd. No:5C Beylikduzu, Istanbul, Turkey.
2. Conditions
These terms form the contract between the Seller and Buyer for the sale of Goods, overriding any other terms the Buyer might propose. Accepting delivery of the Goods confirms the Buyer's acceptance of these terms. Changes to these terms must be agreed upon in writing by Messe Fiera Ltd. Sti.
3. Price
The Price is as stated in the Seller’s order confirmation. If no price is confirmed, the Price will be from the current price list. VAT is added at the rate applicable on the invoice date.
4. Payment and Interest
Payment, including VAT, is due before production and dispatch unless otherwise agreed. The Seller may delay production and delivery until payment is received. Overdue payments will incur interest at 6% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, calculated daily. The Buyer must pay in full and cannot offset or counterclaim against the Seller’s invoices.
5. Goods
The quantity and description of Goods are as per the Seller’s order confirmation. The Seller may change specifications to meet safety or legal requirements without affecting quality or purpose.
6. Cancellation Policy
Once products enter the printing stage, cancellations or refunds are not possible. Cancelling before printing incurs a 50% fee of the total order value. Cancelling after printing requires full payment.
7. Warranties
The Seller guarantees that Goods match the description at delivery. Except for consumer transactions, all other warranties are excluded. Custom displays have no warranty, but some portable products may have a manufacturer’s warranty.
8. Proofs
Proofs are not provided unless the Seller’s designer creates the artwork. A 2D proof can be requested for £20, delaying lead times until approval. No 3D proofs are provided.
9. Artwork Checks
The Seller checks artwork sizing but not content accuracy. The Buyer is responsible for content errors. The Seller will notify the Buyer if artwork doesn’t meet template requirements.
10. Liability
The Seller does not guarantee fitness for a specific purpose unless stated in these terms. All other warranties are excluded.
11. Full Colour Printing
Exact colour matches are not guaranteed due to print process variations. Faulty graphics must be reported within 48 hours for replacement.
12. Delivery of the Goods
Goods are delivered to the Buyer’s address. The Seller aims to dispatch within stated lead times but does not guarantee this. The Seller is not liable for late or short deliveries. If the Buyer fails to take delivery, the Seller may store and insure the Goods at the Buyer’s cost.
13. Acceptance of the Goods
The Buyer is deemed to accept the Goods 48 hours after delivery. Any defects must be reported within 5 working days. Accepted Goods cannot be rejected later.
14. Title and Risk
Risk passes to the Buyer upon delivery. Title remains with the Seller until full payment is received. The Seller can repossess Goods if payment is not made.
15. Hire Goods
The Hirer must not sell or dispose of hired goods. Any damage or loss must be reported and compensated. Standard hire is for one week unless otherwise agreed.
16. Cancellation of Exhibition Stand Services
Cancelling a custom stand after build commencement incurs full material and labor costs. Cancelling within 5 days of installation incurs 50% of installation costs.
17. Design Copyright
Messe Fiera Ltd. Sti. owns the copyright for all designs. Permission is required to use designs elsewhere.
18. Returns
Returns: Made to Order/Bespoke Items
Cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty.
Returns: Faulty Goods
Report within 48 hours for a replacement. Return costs are refunded if a fault is confirmed.
Returns: Cancelled Orders
Return within 14 days at the Buyer’s cost. A 20% restocking fee applies. Custom products cannot be returned.
19. Complaints Policy
Complaints about faulty goods must be made in writing within 48 hours. If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, return costs are refunded, and a replacement is provided. Misuse or poor installation is not covered.
